BEAUTY THERAPIST *GERMAN SPEAKING

Luxury Wellness Resort & Spa | AUSTRIA (EU)

START: ASAP / July 2026

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

  • Monday – Sunday
  • Shifts – must be flexible to accommodate operational needs

REPORTS TO: Spa Manager / HR Manager / CEO

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

  • Visa / Permit provided by company (if eligible for employment)
  • 2,270 – 2,500 Basic Salary per month (Based on experience) | Salary is paid in EUROS
  • 100% public holiday allowance
  • 13th & 14th monthly salary – paid pro-rata
  • Performance bonus (annual)
  • Staff meal (when on duty)

  • Access to wellness & spa facilities within the resort and sister properties
  • In-house discount on vendor relationships & and business partners

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. German native (first language) / fluent 2nd language (C1) | Speak, Read & Write
  2. Confident in English language (Speak, Read & Write) | B2 – C1 Level
  3. Any other European language is beneficial
  4. Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
  5. ITEC certified in Beauty Therapy / CIDESCO / CIBTAC or BABTAC qualification
  6. Aestheticienne / Dermal Aesthetics qualified – BONUS
  7. At least TWO+ years industry experience delivering professional Beauty and Skin Care treatments
  8. Cruise Ship / Resort employment experience is highly favourable
  9. Skilled and competent to perform a variety of professional Skin Care services (Facials, Peels) and Beauty treatments including Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing etc.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Beautician / Beauty Specialist plays a key role in maintaining and developing the resorts beauty and spa offering by delivering high-quality professional beauty treatments.

Through strong technical expertise, attentive consultation, and a high level of quality awareness, the role ensures that guests of all agesfrom children to adultsenjoy a relaxing, professional, and well-presented treatment experience.

Working closely with Spa Reception, Spa Therapists, and Spa Management, the role supports smooth spa operations and actively contributes to:

  • Positive guest experiences
  • Retail product sales

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Beauty Treatments & Guest Care

  • Perform professional facial and skincare treatments according to spa standards
  • Deliver beauty services including manicures and pedicures
  • Conduct individual skin analyses and provide tailored advice
  • Maintain consistently high service and treatment quality
  • Create a calm, professional, and relaxing treatment environment

Organisation & Work Environment

  • Prepare, maintain, and clean treatment rooms
  • Ensure cleanliness, order, and a professional workspace
  • Handle products, materials, and equipment with care
  • Maintain active presence in the spa outside of treatment times to support guest experience
  • Adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality standards
  • Conduct regular checks of spa, relaxation, and guest areas
  • Report any issues or improvement opportunities to Spa Management

Communication & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Spa Reception to ensure smooth scheduling and treatment flow
  • Coordinate with Spa Management on operational and professional matters
  • Collaborate with the Spa Team and other relevant departments
  • Contribute to a professional, team-oriented spa atmosphere
  • Ensure clear internal communication
  • Identify operational challenges and report relevant observations
  • Communicate guest information and appointment changes clearly

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and quality initiatives
  • Attend professional development and training
  • Support spa promotions, programs, and special offers
  • Comply with administrative requirements (documentation, checklists, etc.)
