We have an exciting opportunity to a dynamic couple contribute to the success a stunning 5-Star self-catering lodge, situated in Mpumalanga and create a memorable experience for their guests. We are looking for multiskilled MANAGEMENT COUPLE who are passionate about the hospitality industry, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment to take over the management of the lodge. Duties & Responsibilities: Her: Guests Services: Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently. Foster a welcoming and friendly environment, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well taken care of during their stay Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by consistently providing excellent service and addressing guests concerns or complaints. Arranging Bush delights, special occasions, special holidays etc. Staff Management: Supervise lodge staff members. Create work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to maintain high standards of service. Arrange leave applications, gate passes, staff visitors. Demonstrate the highest level of service excellence and professionalism as a role model for other staff members Lead by Example Financial Management: Site inspections: Meeting; greeting and hosting of all agents. Orientation Administrative Duties: Overseeing of administrative duties. Ensuring all financial data is correct and in order. Monitor financial transactions Lodge: Ensure high levels of standards are kept at all times Ordering and management of stock, consumables and all the assets of the lodge. Him: FGASA Level 2 Full Trails Guide Daily Game drives and Bush walks Hosting of guests Gardens; property maintenance and upkeep Basic Vehicle maintenance skills All relevant maintenance to the property Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications Her: Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent Him: FGASA Level 2 (NQF4) preferred Full Trails ARH competency Skills The successful candidates must have: Her: Minimum of 5 years lodge working experience. 4 or 5 * an advantage. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent operational experience encompassing every aspect of Lodge Management including HR, Admin; Finance; FOH & Guest Experience and basic kitchen knowledge Ability to receive instruction and follow thought as required. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, staff and external stakeholders. Knowledge and experience of lodge operations, including front desk, kitchen/chef and housekeeping. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel & Word. Familiar with Nightsbridge Booking platform and Extranets. Understanding of financial management principles and experience with budgeting and cost control. Marketing and Social Media experience. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Availability to work flexible hours as well as extra hours when required. Lead by example very important. Desire; drive, and experience to develop the lodge to its full potential. Ability to operate independently. Him: FGASA NQ4 or Professional NDT Registered Valid First Aid Certificate Rifle Accreditations and ARH Trails Guide qualification with VPDA Astronomy knowledge advantageous Off-road driving in 4×4 vehicles Excellent operational experience encompassing every aspect of Lodge Management including Maintenance; Guiding & Guest Experience Knowledge and experience of gardens and maintenance. Ability to operate independently.
