Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy Head Guide Job | Luxury Safari Lodge Introduction An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Guide to step into a senior Manager role as Head Guide at a prestigious luxury Lodge located within a world-renowned private game reserve in the Sabi Sand region. This position falls within the premium Hospitality and conservation sector, offering the chance to work in one of Africas most sought-after safari destinations. The lodge is part of an exclusive collection positioned along the Sand River, known for its exceptional Big Five sightingsparticularly leopardand its highly exclusive game viewing experiences. Guests enjoy world-class service, luxury private suites, and immersive safari activities, making guiding excellence a key component of the guest journey. The successful Head Guide will lead and mentor a team of guides, ensuring all safari activities are delivered to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and guest engagement. This role requires a dynamic Manager who is passionate about wildlife, conservation, and delivering unforgettable safari experiences in a luxury Lodge environment. Job Requirements Minimum 3 years experience as a senior Guide or Head Guide Manager Proven experience within a luxury safari Lodge environment FGASA Level 2 (or higher) guiding qualification essential Strong leadership and team management capabilities Excellent guest interaction and Hospitality service skills In-depth knowledge of wildlife behaviour and conservation principles Ability to manage guiding operations, training, and performance standards Valid drivers licence with PrDP and up-to-date First Aid certification High level of professionalism, safety awareness, and presentation Ability to work in a remote, high-end Lodge environment Package Competitive salary (market-related, based on experience) Luxury accommodation provided Meals included Opportunity to work in a leading safari destination Career growth within an internationally recognised Hospitality brand Start Date: To be confirmed
