About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive sales growth in our Industrial sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing sales initiatives aligned with our company’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement sales initiatives aligned with the companys Industrial Strategy and Sales Plan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular customer visits in line with a structured calling cycle and business development plan.
- Monitor customer buying patterns and provide market feedback to management.
- Track competitor activity and identify market trends within the assigned region.
- Assist customers with account openings, credit applications, and product-related queries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Manage warranty claims and customer complaints in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate customer records and CRM data.
- Conduct regional pricing surveys and provide regular sales and market feedback.
- Achieve sales targets while managing discounts and expenses within approved parameters.
Requirements
- Matric Certificate in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification (NQF 5).
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification (NQF 6) advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Sales Representative or similar role within a manufacturing, industrial, or retail environment.
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP systems, and related software).
