About the Role
The Packaging Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing packaging processes, reducing waste, and improving overall machine performance for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimise packaging machine run rates and reduce packaging waste
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimal machine setup and operating conditions
- Support machine troubleshooting during breakdowns and performance issues
- Assist with packaging equipment specifications, commissioning, and upgrades
- Conduct machine capacity and efficiency calculations
- Drive continuous improvement in packaging configuration and material usage
Requirements
- Degree in Packaging Science or a related technical field
- IPSA Diploma or higher
- Strong computer literacy, including data analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated AI and digital tool usage for technical documentation and analysis
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
