About the Role
We are seeking a Part Time Store Manager to join our footwear retail store at O.R. Tambo International Airport on a 3-month contract basis with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be well-spoken, sales-driven, and passionate about retail and working with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Work 3 times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9am to 6pm
- Manage store operations during designated hours
- Drive turnover to achieve targets
- Control expenses and manage stock losses
- Develop staff, handle employee relations, and perform performance management
- Interpret and react to retail market trends in a timely fashion
Requirements
- A combination of or equivalent to the completion of post-secondary education
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Store Manager / Junior Area Manager preferably in the fashion / apparel / footwear brand environment
- Strong sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications required.
Salary & Benefits
R500 per day, paid on a daily basis.
