? Lead a Premier Luxury Wellness Club with Commercial Excellence and Vision! ? ? Senior Club General Manager ? Botswana ? Luxury Health & Fitness Club ? Salary: Negotiable (DOE) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Club General Manager for a luxury health and fitness club based in Botswana. This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to a commercially driven, guest-focused hospitality professional with strong operational expertise and a passion for wellness, service excellence, and high-performance team leadership. The successful candidate will take full accountability for the clubs operational, financial, and service delivery performance while building a thriving wellness community and ensuring a premium member experience. Requirements: Matric certificate essential Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, or Retail (NQF 7) Minimum 6 years experience as a Club General Manager or Hospitality/General Manager in premium or luxury environments Minimum 4 years proven leadership and people management experience Strong commercial acumen and financial management capability Strong HR knowledge including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations Experience in project management and operational execution Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business ownership approach Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities: Commercial Management: Drive revenue growth and EBITDA performance Reduce member churn through engagement and retention strategies Manage ancillary revenue streams including personal training and tenants Oversee capital projects and ensure ROI delivery Control operating expenses through effective P&L management Ensure compliance with company standards and audit requirements Facility Management: Maintain premium facility standards across all operational areas Oversee health, safety, and compliance requirements Manage maintenance schedules and cost control efficiencies Implement preventative maintenance programmes Uphold brand and operational excellence standards People Management: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent Lead staff training, development, and performance management Manage tenants and contractors aligned to strategic goals Foster a high-performance and values-driven culture Ensure effective HR processes and employee relations Member Experience & Service: Deliver exceptional member experience aligned with brand promise Lead wellness and group exercise offerings Build strong member relationships and personalised engagement Resolve queries and complaints effectively and professionally Drive unreasonable hospitality culture across the club Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular market and competitor analysis Identify risks, trends, and opportunities Provide strategic insights to senior leadership Candidate Profile: Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution ability Highly adaptable, resilient, and detail-oriented Strong organisational and time management skills Digitally fluent and systems proficient Passionate about wellness, hospitality, and commercial performance Success Measures: Net member growth Revenue and EBITDA targets Controlled operating expenses Facility compliance and standards Employee engagement and performance outcomes Member satisfaction and retention metrics Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
