About the Role
The Utility / Heat Network Manager will take ownership of utility contracts and energy renewals, supporting the Head of Property in managing utilities for a newly created role driven by regulatory changes. This is a remote position based in South Africa, with working hours of UK 9 am-5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage energy contracts and renewals with a focus on commercial environments.
- Coordinate directly with brokers and third-party vendors to handle quotes and queries.
- Perform regular administrative housekeeping and general utility-related admin.
- Review costs versus billing to ensure financial accuracy.
- Negotiate with stakeholders using a soft negotiation style.
- Support other business areas during periods of lower utility workload.
- Use Excel and numerical skills to manage data and financial information.
