About the Role

The Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities to manage and motivate a team, implement and improve operational systems, processes, and workflows for efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning
  • Manage end-to-end order fulfilment, including processing, invoicing, and dispatch
  • Lead, support, and coordinate the operations team to ensure high performance and accountability
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy, and supplier coordination processes
  • Implement and improve operational systems, processes, and workflows for efficiency gains
  • Handle customer queries and resolve escalations in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with marketing and management teams to support campaigns, promotions, and business growth initiatives
  • Report operational challenges, risks, and performance updates clearly and timeously to management and directors
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality control, and attention to detail across all operational functions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an operations, logistics, or e-commerce environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong process discipline
  • Ability to quickly learn and manage technical workflows and large product catalogues (SKUs)
  • Tech-savvy with experience in e-commerce platforms and order management systems (advantageous)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
