About the Role
The Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities to manage and motivate a team, implement and improve operational systems, processes, and workflows for efficiency gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning
- Manage end-to-end order fulfilment, including processing, invoicing, and dispatch
- Lead, support, and coordinate the operations team to ensure high performance and accountability
- Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy, and supplier coordination processes
- Implement and improve operational systems, processes, and workflows for efficiency gains
- Handle customer queries and resolve escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to support campaigns, promotions, and business growth initiatives
- Report operational challenges, risks, and performance updates clearly and timeously to management and directors
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality control, and attention to detail across all operational functions
Requirements
- Proven experience in an operations, logistics, or e-commerce environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and strong process discipline
- Ability to quickly learn and manage technical workflows and large product catalogues (SKUs)
- Tech-savvy with experience in e-commerce platforms and order management systems (advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
