About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel generators, water pumps and compressors, plate compactors and rammers, small engine construction equipment, and petrol-driven plant and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect returned machines for faults, wear, or damage
- Diagnose and repair diesel and small-engine equipment
- Perform routine services (oil, filters, belts, cooling systems)
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation
- Complete job cards and record work done
- Work with the workshop team to keep equipment hire-ready
Requirements
- Mechanical / engine repair experience
- Ability to diagnose basic diesel and small-engine faults
- Neat workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable and team-oriented attitude
- Experience in construction plant or tool hire will be advantageous
