Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 At least 3 years experience managing / supervising others Able and willing to work shifts and overtime Computer literate Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and plan the daily shifts Ensure production targets are obtained Inspect necessary machines: gas pens, laser machines, bender Read gas readings: nitrogen, oxygen, LPG tanks Ensure jobs are ready for collection or delivery Ensure jobs are sorted correctly Ensure that items are loaded and offloaded correctly Ensure that parts are loaded off the laser bed and packed according to shape, size and thickness Ensure that there are sufficient consumables. Follow up on outstanding material one day before cutting date Conduct spot checks on cutting quality and speeds Ensure parts that are dispatched are accurate Ensure trucks are loaded correctly Ensure all safety rules are followed and PPE used Report breakdowns / machine requirements Ensure staff is working and on time Provide training on standard operating procedures Ensure that non-conformances are completed and expedited Shifts: 4 days day/night shift, 4 days off, 4 days day/night shift, 4 days off etc. PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and planning daily shifts to ensure production targets are met.
