About the Role

Dynacomm Networks is seeking an experienced IT Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure environments to join our team as an On-Site Client Support specialist based in Cape Town. As a key member of our support team, you will provide technical support, maintenance, and project assistance to our clients across various environments, requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to adapt to different technologies and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Support and maintain Windows and macOS workstations
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments
  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Office applications
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP connectivity
  • Install, configure, and support network infrastructure and security solutions
  • Assist with endpoint security, firewall, and access management systems
  • Support VoIP and business telephony platforms
  • Accurately document work performed and escalate issues where required

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT support or IT technician role

Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS environments

Experience supporting and maintaining Windows Server environments

Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and related applications

Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing fundamentals

Experience with network infrastructure and security solutions

Exposure to VoIP or business communication systems

Valid South African driver’s license

Clean criminal record

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional and presentable manner suitable for client-facing environments

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
