About the Role
Our client, a privately owned safari lodge and wildlife estate in Thabazimbi, Limpopo, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Farm Manager to oversee estate operations, technical infrastructure, staff supervision and grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage irrigation systems, pumps, generators, vehicles, fencing and general mechanical and electrical systems.
- Oversee and manage farm and grounds staff, allocating daily tasks, supervising work quality, and ensuring productivity and safety standards are maintained.
- Identify maintenance needs, resolve technical issues efficiently, and support the wider lodge operation where required.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure the estate is always guest-ready and operationally sound.
Requirements
- Proven experience in farm, estate or lodge management
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (essential)
- Experience supervising and managing staff teams
- Practical problem-solving and maintenance skills
- Good communication and organisational ability
- Valid drivers licence
- Comfortable working in a rural safari environment
