About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator (Medical) at our client’s company, you will play a vital role in supporting the purchasing and logistics operations for medical equipment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating end-to-end equipment procurement, liaising with suppliers and shipping agents, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Support purchasing and logistics coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end equipment procurement from order placement to delivery
- Liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, and clearing partners for on-time delivery and compliant documentation
- Track shipments, delivery timelines, and updates internal systems accordingly
- Maintain accurate landed-cost tracking and procurement records
- Conduct monthly stock takes and report discrepancies
- Work closely with warehouse, sales, and installation teams to ensure stock availability and smooth deliveries
- Act as a central communication point across logistics-related functions
- Provide general logistics administration, reporting, and record-keeping support
Requirements
- Matric
- Logistics or Supply Chain degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics or supply chain
- Previous experience in the medical, healthcare, or medical equipment industry
- Experience with Imports and Exports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with SYSPRO
- Knowledge of logistics compliance and regulatory requirements
