About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at our lodge in Waterberg, Limpopo. As a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our lodge and ensuring that all systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and air-conditioning systems
- Perform repairs and replacements as needed
- Manage projects to ensure timely completion and within budget
- Supervise and train team members to perform tasks effectively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a similar role in a lodge environment
- Technical expertise in plumbing, welding, carpentry, refrigeration/air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience in project management (advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain composure
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays
