About the Role
The Electronics Engineer position at Persona Staff requires a skilled professional to design, assemble, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with PCB CAD design, circuit prototyping, and testing, as well as soldering skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Design / update existing PCB designs with analog and digital subsystems.
- Assemble, solder, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Perform component testing and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- National Diploma / BTech or an equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years experience in PCB CAD design in a production environment.
- Experience with circuit prototyping and testing.
- Working experience in electronics and embedded systems design and programming.
- Must have soldering skills.
- Ability to use testing equipment.
- Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform electrical PLC panel wiring.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
