About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape region. As an Electronics Engineer at Persona Staff, you will be responsible for designing and updating PCB designs, assembling and repairing printed circuit boards, and ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design / update existing PCB designs with analog and digital subsystems.
- Assemble, solder, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Perform component testing and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- National Diploma / BTech or an equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years experience in PCB CAD design in a production environment.
- Experience with circuit prototyping and testing.
- Working experience in electronics and embedded systems design and programming.
- Must have soldering skills.
- Ability to use testing equipment.
- Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform electrical PLC panel wiring.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
