Qualifications and Experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with technical qualifications such as:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- National Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering
- Qualified Millwright Trade Test
- Experience in end-user repairs and/or technical knowledge of:
- Vacuum pumps
- Blowers
- Water pumps
- Compressors
- Valves
- Measuring instrumentation
- Leak detectors
- Other industrial equipment
- Experience working within industrial sectors such as:
- Food Processing
- Automotive
- Chemical and Pharmaceutical
- Plastics
- Medical
- Water and Wastewater
- Valid driver’s licence
- Valid passport and willingness to travel within Africa when required

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with customers daily, both verbally and via email.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
- Generate new equipment, spares, service, and repair sales.
- Grow the service business by securing service contracts.
- Track previous services and proactively engage customers for future servicing requirements.
- Promote workshop repair services.
- Conduct on-site fault finding and problem-solving.
- Install, service, and repair vacuum pumps and systems at customer sites.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement growth strategies.
- Submit accurate weekly and monthly reports.
- Develop relationships with technicians, engineers, maintenance managers, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users.
- Provide regular and accurate feedback to management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company procedures.

- Afrikaans as a first language will be advantageous, as many customers prefer to communicate in Afrikaans.
