Job Description
- The Managing, Planning and Execution of information analysis regarding criminal activities on the sites where BPC has been appointed as the security services provider, the effective management of all administrative duties related to your own and members analysis and the management and control of equipment allocated to you and your members.
- Manage CiiMS platform.
- The proper accounting and control of BPC and its client’s funds entrusted to you for the execution of given tasks, the implementing and observing of effective security measures in the execution of your duties.
- To ensure that your actions fall within the boundaries of the law.
- Exercise control over your own and employees’ activities.
- Compile presentations and reports in respect of analysis conducted.
- Compile and distribute crime reports and statistics.
- Assist and support investigators/ managers/ clients WRT crime information.
- Training, mentoring and managing of forensic data analysts and forensic data administrators (all levels).
- Manage and maintain client service level agreement and output expectation
- Apply analytical approaches, processes, and tools to detect crime and crime trends
- Conduct analysis of various data sets of standards to medium complexity and add value to information received to establish if there are reasonable grounds disclosure to relevant stakeholders
- Contextualize information according to clients’ needs and prepare relevant reports, including the creation of charts and graphics, to explain findings in matters where there is a suspicion of crime or actual crime and present to clients
- Interpret information from various systems and records and evaluate information in the context of possible crimes being committed and present to clients
- Compile expert reports to relay findings in relation to analyses processes followed and implemented
- Attend crime combatting forums and represent company/division at meetings with clients
- Assist and support in the investigation, arrest, and prosecution of perpetrators
- Provide expert testimony on work performed at judicial hearings
- Correct and address matters where quality problems are observed or identified in the respective applicants, products, and projects outputs.
- Assist in the development of crime prevention and risk mitigating strategies
- Establish and maintain industry relationships and networks to leverage cross collaboration and information sharing
- Interpret the needs of clients to ensure product output which may inform decision making

Main Purpose of this Position
- Capturing & Updating of Crime information on various databases and compilation & distribution of advanced crime reports & statistics and general office administration
- Training and mentoring of all employees (all levels)
- Responsible for basic office administration of all employees (all levels)
- Compile performance appraisals of all employees in the department
- Manage dedicated division workloads between all employees (all levels)
- Analysis of Crime information and compilation and presentation of crime reports and/or risk analysis reports
- Generate tactical, strategic, and operational intelligence products in support of the investigations division mandate, including court directed reports upon request, to aid criminal investigations and criminal prosecutions
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
Minimum Requirements
- Working experience in any of the following fields: Law enforcement/intelligence/risk management/crime information environment/crime analysis
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in forensic data analysis
- Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in compiling and dealing with crime statistical reports
- Clean criminal and ITC record
- Working knowledge/training in data analysis applications, tools, and systems
- Excellent communication and clients’ relations skills
- Experience in Report writing and presentation skills
- Experience as a forensic data analyst
- Candidate must be presentable
- Bachelor’s degree in relation to subjects such as Criminology/Law/Policing/Statistics and Research Methodology/Data science etc.
- MS Office Programs proficiency (advanced)
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge and management from end to end on the CiiMS platform
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
- Excellent written, verbal communication, reporting writing and presentation skills
- Dependable, work independently, meticulous, and precise
- Well versed in observing and assessing information (Analytical thinking)
- Ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of others
- Leadership & management skills (Emotional intelligence, adaptability, resilience & problem-solving skills)
- Experience/training in CiiMS/Analyst Notebook/Power BI/Google Earth and/or other analytical tools
- Ability to nurture beneficial business relations
- Required to work overtime from time to time
- Required to travel from time to time and must have own transport
