About the Role
Daisy JHB (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. As a Printer and Copier Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing printers, copiers, and related office equipment/furniture. You will provide technical support to end-users, ensure optimal performance, and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure printers, copiers, and other office equipment at customer sites.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on printers and copiers, such as cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to identify the root cause of problems.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as print heads, rollers, circuit boards, or sensors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in printer and copier maintenance and repair.
- Strong technical knowledge of printing and copying technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
