Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to employees to drive performance improvements.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR roles within the food production industry.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
