Job Description
Were looking for a Reconciliation Analyst to join our client’s core finance team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy of our transactional data through daily and monthly reconciliation. Youll work with high volumes of financial data, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records all while collaborating with a team committed to financial excellence. This role has strong career progression potential, including pathways toward becoming a Financial Analyst.
Minimum Requirements
>A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
>13 years experience in a financial operations or reconciliation environment (preferred)
– Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
– Proficiency in basic accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar)
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
– Strong attention to detail, accountability, and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
– Own reliable transport and a valid South African drivers license
Advantageous (Nice-to-Have)
– Familiarity with SQL or database query tools
– Previous experience reconciling transactions in multi-PSP or high-volume environments
– Experience with automated reconciliation tools or scripts (e.g. Python-based)
– Exposure to South African financial regulations and banking practices

– Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to work cross-functionally
