About the Role

The Dry Process Manager role at our company is a critical position that requires strong leadership and operational management skills to drive efficiency and quality in our textile manufacturing operations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our weaving, warp knitting, and yarn storage processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Weaving, Warp Knitting, Weaving Preparation, and Yarn Storage operations to achieve production and quality targets
  • Minimise waste, manage consumables and yarn inventory, and ensure efficient stock control
  • Ensure machinery is maintained to reduce downtime and improve operational performance
  • Maintain accurate reporting, operational documentation, and inventory records
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant legislation
  • Coordinate product sampling and evaluation processes before production
  • Support process improvements to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and control operating costs
  • Support product costing, Bills of Materials, and MRP & ERP system accuracy
  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Support procurement activities to ensure competitive pricing of consumables and chemicals
  • Drive process improvements to improve productivity and reduce costs

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelors degree or recognised Diploma in Textile Technology / Engineering
