Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the terms of the clients contract to ensure that contractual commitments are continually met.
- Identify various objectives that will assist in maintaining and moving the business relationship forward. Set goals and produce creative, measurable and workable plans to achieve them, communicating the plans, key dates and activities to all involved.
- Providing on-going customer satisfaction.
- Enhancing customer Relationships.
- Working closely with travel consultants.
- Managing, development and motivating consultants, and addressing issues and concerns.
- Increasing profitability of customer base.
- Develop business plan for each customer structure which may identify sales opportunities.
- Professional, accurate and effective internal reporting of customer activity and development as well as industry trends and competitor activity and operations.
- Conducting customer surveys on a regular basis and recommending areas of improvement in the business processes to increase customer satisfaction.
- Preparing weekly, monthly reports and monitoring thereof.
- Recommending training requirements for consultants to the Managing Director.
- Making recommendations to customers to improve their business processes.
- Analyse, interpret and advise customers on travel trends and spending through Travel Management Reports, Turnover and Revenue reports as well as on suppliers reports.
- Producing Cost savings reports for clients.
- Review customer expenditure information and identify opportunities to secure supplier agreements.
- Tracking of Corporate agreements where applicable.
- Act as a back-up travel consultant where applicable.
- Implementation and management of service level agreements to ensure effective adherence to agreed policies and procedures.
- Efficient administration of corporate agreements and travel policies.
- Consolidation of existing business.
- Continuous liaison with the stakeholders and operation to ensure strategy alignment.
- Managing effective, strong, multi-level Customer and Supplier relationships.
- Following up on payment and outstanding accounts.
- Understand and evaluate customer opportunities for process improvement and technology solutions.
- Set goals and produce creative, measurable and workable plans to achieve them, communicating the plans, key dates and activities to all involved.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five years experience in sales & marketing.
- Relevant qualification in Travel (Essential).
- Familiar with tendering system.
- Perform well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
