Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pr Eng/Pr Tech/Pr Tech Project Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy based in Johannesburg. This role is perfect for an engineer looking to advance their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects through all phases, from concept to completion
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
- Prepare project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and reports
- Conduct design and feasibility studies to assess project viability
- Provide technical input and advice to project teams as needed
- Oversee site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
- Pr Eng, Pr Tech, or Pr Techni registration with ECSA
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant project engineering experience
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team and lead initiatives
- Experience in the consulting engineering sector will be advantageous
