About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – HIV and Crisis Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership, you will be responsible for shaping organisational strategy and driving the development of evidence that strengthens resilient HIV responses, particularly in crisis contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a dynamic Learning & Innovation function, ensuring the development, synthesis, and dissemination of evidence that supports organisational strategy.
- Play a key representative role both regionally and globally, influencing policy and advancing scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Foster partnerships and drive advocacy efforts to strengthen HIV responses in crisis contexts.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to geographically dispersed teams in agile, multicultural environments.
Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience within a complex, international organisation
- Strong expertise in HIV and/or global health, with exposure to health systems, human rights, or crisis response
- Solid background in research, monitoring & evaluation, and evidence translation into policy and practice
- Demonstrated experience in advocacy, partnership development, and influencing at a senior level
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
