About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, an architecture firm, is actively seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team in Ballito, KZN. You will play a crucial role in transforming architectural designs into detailed plans and specifications necessary for the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications based on architectural designs
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather relevant data for project planning
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project feasibility
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Assist in project management tasks to ensure timely delivery
- Provide technical support during the construction phase
- Attend project meetings and represent the architectural team
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of project changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural design or technological roles
- Proficiency in Archicad, SANS, and other design software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license is necessary for site visits
