About the Role

Profile Personnel is seeking an experienced Information Security and Server Administrator to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server administration, information security, and related fields. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

Information Security Governance: Security Policies and Standards, Risk Management
Access Control: User Access Management, MFA, Role-based Access Control
Network and Endpoint Security: Firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems, Antivirus and Endpoint Protection, Network and Security Monitoring, VPNs
Data Security and Encryption: Data Loss Prevention, Backup and Recovery
Security Incident Management: Incident Detection and Response Planning, Security Incident Reporting, Forensic Analysis
Vulnerability Management: Vulnerability Assessments, Patch Management, Penetration Testing
Compliance and Audit Support: Regulatory Compliance, Audit Preparation, Security Controls Verification
Security Support and Helpdesk Services: User Security Support (password resets, access requests), Security breaches, phishing attempts, and other security concerns
Cloud Security Management: Cloud Infrastructure Protection, Cloud Access Security Broker, Data Protection in the Cloud
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning: Disaster Recovery Planning, Business Continuity Management security policies and procedures
Security Technology Management: SIEM analysis and report on security events, Mobile device management

Requirements

Completed tertiary qualification in Information Systems, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in Server Administration
Experience with NOC and SOC
Additional Information Security or Cyber Security certification is advantageous
