About the Role

The Client Tech Engagement and Integration Delivery Partner will be responsible for ensuring the technology translates into commercial value for our merchants in Johannesburg. This role focuses on swift onboarding, system uptime, and continuous improvement to ensure seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Client Integrations – Ensure successful, on-time, and in-full integrations for all new clients.
  • Lead comprehensive client requirements gathering to understand their exact e-commerce needs.
  • Oversee the configuration of existing plugins and integrations, tailoring them precisely to the client’s requirements.
  • Facilitate thorough client training to ensure quick adoption and value realization.
  • Ensure Platform Stability and Readiness – Take ownership of existing client integrations to guarantee maximum uptime.
  • Proactively ensure all existing integrations and plugins are up to date and ready for core platform changes across Shopify, Woo-commerce, and Magento.
  • Bridge the gap between Client Needs and Development – Actively prioritise new client requirements to ensure the development team focuses on high-impact features.
  • Write clear, detailed specs for new requirements for sharing with Dev.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications in major eCommerce platforms or integration technologies are a strong advantage.
  • Experience/Skills: 10 Years in senior tech roles – Logistics, e-commerce, or platform businesses ideal.
  • Proven success in system transformation, product delivery, and cloud tech.
  • Commercially minded, connects tech to bottom-line impact.
