About the Role
Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a talented Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team in Wellington. As a Construction Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing costs and contracts on construction projects in the Wellington area.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Managing and controlling project costs, including tracking and reporting on cost variations
- Conducting quantity take-offs and measurements
- Preparing and analyzing tender and contract documents
- Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Providing advice on contractual matters and settlement of final accounts
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies
- Experience in using quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines
