About the Role
Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across various industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new supply chain business opportunities across various industrial sectors including mining, agriculture, construction, oil, and gas
- Analyse customer and prospective client needs and tailor solutions to meet specific supply chain requirements
- Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline through cross-selling across multiple industries
- Develop and sustain relationships with key decision-makers within target organisations, remaining informed of their activities to identify opportunities
- Develop and implement effective business growth strategies to attract new clients, expand the customer base, and achieve targeted growth margins
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to deal closure
- Implement business intelligence processes, including pricing analysis, materials, industry trends, and market conditions
- Provide accurate forecasting for new business and contribute to annual budgeting processes
- Deliver monthly reports comparing actual performance against targets
- Assess financial viability and conduct risk analysis of potential clients
- Consistently achieve individual and departmental sales targets
