Job Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned clients, ensuring trial balances are complete, signed off, and delivered timeously to the team.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtors, creditors, loans, payroll, and VAT control accounts.
- Maintain clean, up-to-date, audit-ready client records across accounting systems such as Xero, Pastel, or Eureka.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and payroll reports monthly via SARS eFiling, ensuring accuracy and compliance with PAYE, UIF, and SDL requirements.
- Reconcile VAT and payroll control accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies before month-end close.
- Coordinate annual compliance processes, ensuring timely completion of AFS, income tax returns, CIPC filings, beneficial ownership registers, ROE submissions, and other statutory requirements.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and responding to queries within strict turnaround times.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and seamless delivery of client requirements.
