About the Role

AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking an experienced E&I Clerk of Works / Project Manager to join our team in Khathu, Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full-time onsite Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) EPCM projects, ensuring all E&I project activities meet company standards, quality, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all E&I aspects of projects executed by the Projects Department.
  • Act as Package Engineer for onsite and office-based EPCM projects.
  • Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFQs and enquiries.
  • Evaluate and adjudicate tenders; recommend suitable contractors.
  • Verify that all E&I designs comply with SANS standards and company specifications.
  • Facilitate design reviews with company engineers.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality control, and quality assurance throughout the full project lifecycle: Design, Procurement, Implementation, Punching, Testing & commissioning assistance, Red-lining of IFC drawings.
  • Ensure proper application of company testing and commissioning procedures.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Ensure strong integration of E&I details with civil, process, and mechanical designs.

Requirements

  • Strong command of company standards, specifications, design criteria, and commissioning procedures.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ industrial (operational) experience in a mining or plant environment.
  • At least 6 years in a Project Management capacity.
  • Formal Project Management training beneficial.

Qualifications

Formal education/certifications: Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, B.Tech / B.Eng (NQF Level 7) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
