About the Role
As a Shop Assistant at JG Electronics, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. Your primary duties will involve picking and packing client orders, maintaining shop organization, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick stock accurately according to picking slips/orders
- Keep shop organised and neat and stocked
- Meet, greet and assist clients as they enter the shop
- Pick and Pack client and online orders (most of your day)
- Move around boxes with equipment in them weighing up to 50kg each
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Report damaged or missing stock
- Work closely with the dispatch and sales teams to ensure smooth order flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail setting, picking/packing, or similar role
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality
- Basic understanding of stock control processes
- Physically fit (able to stand, lift, and move stock throughout the day)
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy periods
- Good communication skills
