About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team in Alberton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boilermaking, with 5 years of experience and relevant certifications. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for manufacturing cutting list parts accurately, assembling and tacking these parts into machine/equipment units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture all cutting list parts accurately
  • Assemble and tack all cutting list parts into a machine/equipment unit
  • Understand drawings to produce cutting lists, dimensions or functionalities
  • Rigging and lifting knowledge

Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Qualified Boilermaker with Trade test report
  • Overhead Crane Operator certificate
  • Basic Rigger Certificate (advantageous)
  • Welder Certificate (advantageous)
  • Driver license
  • Forklift driver license
