About the Role
Our client in the Logistic industry is recruiting for a Fleet Supervisor/Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily fleet and distribution operations across regional and long-distance routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet and distribution operations across regional and long-distance routes
- Plan and optimize delivery schedules, routes, and vehicle utilization
- Monitor vehicle tracking, delivery performance, and cold chain compliance
- Oversee maintenance, servicing, and vehicle roadworthiness
- Supervise drivers and fleet staff, including performance, safety, and training
- Control fuel usage, fleet costs, and identify efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
- Compile fleet reports and coordinate with operations and warehouse teams
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transport Management (advantageous)
