About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Meat Trimmer to join our team at a factory in Brackenfell. The successful candidate will be responsible for trimming meat to high standards, working effectively with the production team, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Trim meat to precise specifications using cutting tools and equipment
- Maintain cutting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure attention to detail and precision in cutting and trimming meat
- Handle large cuts of meat with physical dexterity and strength
- Understand and follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Manage time efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, following instructions from supervisors
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their preparation methods
- Ability to use cutting tools and equipment effectively
- Physical dexterity and strength to handle large cuts of meat
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Good communication skills
