About the Role
The Security Operations Coordinator role at Burgersfort is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the security operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, its occupants, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security threats
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity
- Coordinate with reaction teams in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and security breaches
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Firearm Competencies – Handgun & Shotgun (PSIRA registration)
- Computer Literacy
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in the security industry, including experience in a Reaction Team
- Valid Drivers License (Code B)
Qualifications
- SAPS Certified copies of qualifications and ID required
