Overview This role requires an experienced and highly competent Security Manager to oversee and manage all security operations across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of security policies, maintaining strong client relationships, managing security personnel conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, company standards and ensure all contractual requirements are consistently met. This position will report directly to the CEO and will be expected to build and lead a high-performing security function. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and grow the organisation’s security division. · Lead and manage the security team, including guards, supervisors, and contracted personnel. · Manage and oversee all security operations across allocated sites. · Conduct regular security risk assessments across all sites and implement corrective actions · Ensure full compliance with relevant South African legislation including PSIRA regulations and the Private Security Industry Regulation Act. · Manage security operations centre (SOC) and ensure 24/7 coverage protocols are in place. · Investigate and prepare detailed incident reports. · Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and security audits. · Supervise, mentor, and develop security supervisors and security officers. · Liaise with clients and maintain strong professional relationships. · Monitor deployment schedules and ensure adequate site coverage. · Manage firearm control and compliance where applicable. · Assist in business development and client retention initiatives. Foster a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and continuous improvement. · Minimum of 5 years experience. · Registered with PSIRA at Grade A level (or higher). · Matric certificate/ Grade 12 Equivalent. · Security Management certificate / Diploma or a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous. · Proven track record managing multi-site security operations. · Strong understanding of South African security legislation and compliance requirements. · Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
