Cape Town City Centre: Finance Administrator – Belville, Cape Town – Salary R15 000 to R18 000 (depending on experience).

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to join our team in Cape Town. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the daily administrative flow of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office administration, filing, and precise archiving to ensure organized records.
  • Capture all electronic banking transactions (debits and credits) and update the cashflow spreadsheet.
  • Create requisitions and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Syspro, including finalizing and marking orders as complete in the Open PO Dashboard.
  • Update exchange rate spreadsheets and Syspro on a daily basis.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing all required documentation.
  • Handle GRN courier costs for logistics and monitor CFC payments, including updating UCR numbers.
  • Assist with scanning and saving registered invoices, ensuring they are submitted to the Creditors Controller by strict deadlines (Mondays for COD; 7th of the month for Creditors).

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience in a finance or administrative role.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Finance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in both English & Afrikaans.
  • Previous experience with Syspro is highly advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R15 000 to R18 000 (depending on experience).
