About the Role
We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator for a prestigious 5-star hotel and wine estate in Constantia, Cape Town. As part of an award-winning hospitality group with multiple restaurants, a spa, tasting room, and accommodation offering, this role involves creating compelling online stories from exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of luxury brand identity, be confident across digital platforms, and possess excellent written English with a keen eye for brand consistency and tone.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan; create and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms in line with brand guidelines
- Capture and edit photo and video content on property across all business units (hotel, restaurants, spa, tasting room, and wine estate)
- Manage and grow the property’s digital presence and online community engagement
- Develop and distribute email marketing campaigns to guests, wine club members, and trade partners
- Maintain and update website content ensuring accuracy, SEO optimisation, and brand alignment
- Monitor; track and report on digital performance metrics across all channels
- Support the planning and promotion of events, activations, and seasonal campaigns
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure marketing activity reflects the full property offering
- Assist with PR-related content including press releases and media liaison support
Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role, preferably within hospitality, wine, luxury, or lifestyle brands
- Proven social media management experience across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Strong content creation skills including copywriting, basic graphic design, and short-form video
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms
- Experience with website content management (WordPress or similar)
- Working knowledge of SEO and paid digital advertising
