About the Role
Gunning Construction & Civils is seeking a skilled Red Seal Plumber to lead a team in installing domestic water meters and associated pipework across residential properties within the City of Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant installation methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading a two or three-person team in water meter installation
- Efficient and safe installation of domestic water meters and associated pipework
- Excavation and reinstatement work as part of the installation process
- Communication with clients to ensure project success
Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Valid Red Seal certificate
- Driver’s licence
- More than 5 years experience in the plumbing trade
- Experience with municipal water reticulation networks, water meter installation, and related maintenance (highly advantageous)
