Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Dispatch Administrator to join our team at Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd in Durban. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless order processing, accurate stock management, and efficient transport coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all sales orders are closed within daily cut-off times
- Manage and prioritise open orders and backorders
- Validate purchase orders using DOTIF reporting
- Verify stock prior to dispatch to ensure system and physical alignment
- Close pick slips accurately and confirm warehouse completion
- Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare trip sheets using Syspro
- Optimise routes and consolidate loads based on NDDs
- Ensure compliance with vehicle tonnage regulations
- Generate accurate invoices and delivery notes
- Maintain complete dispatch documentation records
- Liaise with 3PL transport providers to confirm schedules
- Communicate delays and delivery updates to stakeholders
- Resolve transport-related issues proactively
- Run and validate DOTIF reports
- Monitor dispatch KPIs (OTIF, accuracy, order fulfilment)
- Maintain accurate dispatch filing and records
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics
- Syspro (or similar ERP system) experience essential
- MS Office proficiency
- Code 08 driver’s licence + own transport required
- Forklift or pallet jack experience advantageous
