Durban: Process Technician

Job Responsibilities: Quality: Ensure the product voltage, PH conductivity, acid level and temperature are correct according to specifications before use. Ensure that all chemicals transferred to the effluent plant is in line with the Environmental work instructions and procedures. Manufacturing: Optimise line process parameters to improve units per input hour. Ensure that all tanks and pumps are maintained to eliminate any production downtime. Ensure that the chemicals specifications of the tanks are in line with the work instructions. Responsible for the make-up and additions of the chemicals to the various tanks are correct according to the specifications. Ensure that the Handover procedure is followed and detailed accordingly Job Requirements: Grade 12 (Critical) Diploma in Analytical Chemistry(adv). Handling of hazardous chemicals. PPG certificate of training 2 years experience as a Process Technician. 2 years in a similar quality field
