About the Role

The Tender Administrator will be responsible for identifying and monitoring tender opportunities, preparing and submitting tender documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor relevant tender opportunities (public and private sector)
  • Prepare, compile, and submit tender documents in line with requirements
  • Ensure all tender documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather required information for submissions
  • Maintain and update tender databases and records
  • Track tender deadlines and ensure timely submissions
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders regarding tender requirements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable South African regulations and procurement policies
  • Assist with pricing schedules and costing documentation where required
  • Maintain an organised filing system for all tender-related documents

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar (advantageous)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in tender administration or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of tender processes, preferably within the South African market
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
