About the Role
The Assistant Quality Manager (Laboratory-Cement) role at Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd is a critical position that ensures the implementation of our Integrated Environmental, Safety and Quality Management System requirements. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all EH & S guidelines and procedures, as well as maintaining our Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure raw material verification, in-process, and final product samples
- Responsible for arrangement and planning of shift work and overtime control
- Maintain, control, and ensure correct quality and quantity product
- Maintain and update work instruction
- Maintain quality management systems
- Update Quality reports
- Train and ensure competency of personnel
- Work according to Integrated (Environmental, Safety and Quality) Management System requirements
- Housekeeping
Requirements
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
- 2 – 4 Years Experience in Quality Control/Laboratory
- Familiarity with Quality Management System
- Experience with highly sophisticated computer-driven instruments
- Ability to handle high volume workload and meet tight deadlines
