Job Summary:
Hire Resolves Client is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee the operations of their workshop. The Workshop Foreman will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring repairs and maintenance services are completed efficiently and to a high standard, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Planning and Supervision of Maintenance of Earthmoving Equipment 
• Attending to breakdowns and scheduled maintenance 
• Must know and understand risk assessments, JSA’s, HIRA’s and all other safety requirements. 
• Ordering for spares 
• Liaison with site management as well as Suppliers and OEM’s

Requirements: 

• Grade 12, related tertiary education will be beneficial 
• Qualified earthmoving Equipment Mechanic with 10 years and more experience 
• An understanding of Mercedes, Caterpillar, Bell, Komatsu and various ancillary equipment will be an advantage. 
• Diesel Mechanic and other relevant trades will be considered depending on experience 
• Post Trade Test experience and advantage 
• Minimum 5 years Supervisory Experience.
