About the Role
As a Fleet Manager in our East London office, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous good state-of-repair of our company’s fleet. This involves compiling, implementing, and updating the Fleet Register and Maintenance Plan to ensure seamless servicing, fitment, and modification processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, implement, and update the Fleet Register and Maintenance Plan on an ongoing basis
- Effective planning to ensure that the Fleet always delivers upon the fleet requirements of the company
- Efficient liaison with servicing agents and suppliers for seamless servicing, fitment, and modification processes (including collection and service quality checks)
- Ensuring vehicles are duly licensed prior to renewal date
- Tracking mileage and fuel consumption to optimize economy and detect mechanical problems early
- Implementing an effective system of rotation, purchasing, and sales for the fleet
Requirements
- Relevant experience in fleet management or a related field
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with servicing agents and suppliers
- Ability to track mileage and fuel consumption effectively
- Basic knowledge of vehicle licensing procedures
