Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.

Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop job descriptions.

Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.

Employee Relations

Support conflict resolution and grievance handling.

Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and engagement strategies.

Investigate and document employee complaints, policy violations, and disciplinary actions.

Compliance & Policy Administration

Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies.

Support audits and ensure accurate record-keeping of personnel files and HR data.

Performance Management

Coordinate performance appraisal processes and track development plans.

Support managers in coaching and performance improvement discussions.

Training & Development

Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for staff and supervisors.

Maintain training records and assist with skills matrix development.

HR Data & Reporting

Maintain HRIS and ensure accuracy of employee data.

Generate and analyse HR reports (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, headcount, diversity).

Compensation & Benefits Support

Assist with payroll inputs, employee benefit administration, and leave management.

Respond to employee queries related to compensation, benefits, and time off.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2-3 years of HR generalist experience; automotive or manufacturing sector preferred.

Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Skills/Assets:

Experience in unionized environments.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
