About the Role

Fusion Personnel is seeking an experienced Stores Manager to join our team in the East Rand area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, dispatch)
  • Manage stock control, cycle counts, and annual stock takes
  • Ensure accurate barcoding, bin locations, and inventory systems
  • Supervise container handling, storage, and equipment usage
  • Oversee forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and general equipment maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards (including inspections)
  • Manage stores staff and drivers (training, scheduling, performance)
  • Coordinate logistics, dispatch, and receiving operations
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics (preferred)
  • 5–10 years’ warehouse/stores management experience
  • Forklift license (essential)
  • Reach truck license (advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, equipment, and barcoding
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
