Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and guest-focused Waiter for a luxury wine estate based in Franschhoek.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring an outstanding guest experience through attentive, knowledgeable and professional service.

Package

Salary: R6,500 R7,500 per month DOE

The Role

The Waiter will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service, ensuring guests receive a memorable and seamless dining experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and attentive table service to guests
Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service
Present menu items and make recommendations where appropriate
Ensure tables are set, maintained and cleared according to standards
Deliver food and beverages efficiently and correctly
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction throughout service
Liaise effectively with kitchen and bar teams
Handle guest queries and requests professionally
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
Support the restaurant team during busy service periods

Requirements

Previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar front-of-house role
Experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent guest service orientation
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Hospitality training advantageous
